Get Out the Vote

Empowering employees to vote

In our representative democracy, your vote is your voice. At Travelers, we’re working to make sure everyone’s voice is heard, both within our employee population and beyond. We host non-partisan voter registration drives and promote awareness of upcoming elections within our Travelers offices and invest in a culture of democratic participation in our communities to help foster a lifelong commitment to voting.

Become a ‘Get Out the Vote’ Ambassador

Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Ambassadors play a key role in making sure that Travelers employees have the information and resources they need to participate in elections. Citizen Travelers is looking for GOTV Ambassadors to host voter registration booths and share voting information at offices across the country this year.

If you’re passionate about civic engagement and want to help your colleagues navigate the voting process, we’d love to have you join (or rejoin) the team.

What Ambassadors do

As a GOTV Ambassador, you’ll lead two sessions at your field location – one for voter registration and one for our Pledge to Vote campaign. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setup and coordination: Work with site leadership to arrange voter registration booths and monitor activities.
  • Engagement: Share information about Citizen Travelers and the importance of voting, and hand out swag.
  • Documentation: Encourage participation and capture photos.

Time commitment

  • 30-minute virtual training (scheduled at a time that works for you).
  • Approximately two hours managing booths for your state’s primary and general elections.

Ready to get involved?

We currently have Ambassadors at about 25 offices and are excited to welcome volunteers from locations that haven’t yet participated.
